NAFF BEAT (Electro):
This is my band which is called NAFF Beat. I came up with the idea quite awhile ago and from there, other than writing and mixing the music, I created the design concept as well as creating all the artwork/graphics, video and coding for it.

Not too long ago, we wrote a Katy Perry Remix just for fun and we decided to give it away. I thought it would be nice to give away a couple of tracks for free, especially if people like our stuff generally (and for obvious other legal reasons).

During the design stage of the band, I wanted to come up with an art concept that focused on two elements:
i) The use of silhouette-based imagery within our branding.

ii) The use of primary/secondary colours (Red, Green, Blue, Cyan, Magenta, Yellow). These are very striking colours thus easily discernable by the eyes.

The final 6 templates used:
These 6 images were combined to create an animated gif as the centralised banner for the myspace page.
Once the artwork, the songs, and the general design was ready for launch of the myspace website, it was followed up by a series of viral music videos.
Currently the band has acquired a publishing deal at Champion Records and are in the process of releasing their first track on this label.
